Hi, I’m Carlee. I’m 27, I live in the U.S., and I want to share something personal. My hope is that it resonates with other women who’ve ever felt different or unsure about their bodies. Specifically, I want to talk about my labia.

From a young age, I noticed mine were longer than most. At first, I didn’t know how to feel about it—I hadn’t really seen many other vulvas to compare with, and the few I came across in media or online didn’t look like mine. My inner labia naturally extend about 2.5 inches from my vulva, and they stretch even longer. In tight leggings or swimwear, the bulge is obvious. For years, I tried to hide it. I would tuck them in, lose clothing options, or avoid certain outfits altogether.

But over time, my perspective shifted. I realized this part of my body—completely natural and untouched by stretching—wasn’t something to be ashamed of. It just is. I’ve never practiced labia stretching or modification; this is simply the way I was born.

For a long time, I kept it private. But eventually, I realized so many women struggle with the same insecurities about having longer labia. That’s when I decided to share my story. I want others to know: it’s not weird, it’s not wrong, and it doesn’t need to be hidden. My labia feel right for me. I don’t obsess over them—they’re just another part of my body. And yes, they also bring extra stimulation, which I’ve learned to appreciate.

I’ve even chosen to share a few photos—not for shock value, but to provide reassurance and a real-life perspective. If you’ve ever worried that your lips are “too large,” I want to tell you: they’re not. You’re not alone, and there’s nothing unnatural about you.

We all come in different shapes and sizes. Often, the things we’re most self-conscious about are the very things that can make us feel more connected to our bodies. Discovering this site and learning that many women choose to elongate their labia gave me a whole new perspective. It made me embrace mine even more, because having them naturally long feels special. I’ve even started thinking: what if I tried labia stretching myself? The idea fascinates me. Since I already have some length, I can’t help but wonder—how much longer could they become? I guess time will tell.

Zenzile

Zenzile represents the collective voice of our community. In Southern African traditions, the name translates to “the one who has done it for herself”—a perfect reflection of the intentional journey of labia stretching. These stories are shared anonymously by women across the globe who, like our founder Lia, have chosen to reclaim their anatomy and honor the heritage of self-cultivation. Under the shade of the Baobab, every story finds a home.
